Maa Ganga is not approached for a particular outcome so much as for cleansing — of what has accumulated, of what was done knowingly and unknowingly. The snan-sankalp taken at a ghat, the deep-daan floated on her waters, and the aarti offered at dusk are her sevas.
Divyachadhava performs these at Har Ki Paudi in Haridwar, where Ganga first touches the plains, and at Dashashwamedh Ghat in Kashi. Your naam-gotra is spoken at the ghat before the offering is made.
4 sevas at 2 Kshetras, open for booking right now.
Somvati Amavasya, Mauni Amavasya, Kartik Purnima, Ganga Dussehra and Makar Sankranti are the principal ones. Through Pitru Paksha the ghats are also used for tarpan offered to ancestors.
Choose one of the 4 sevas below, enter your naam and gotra, and complete the payment. On the appointed tithi the acharya takes the sankalp in your naam-gotra and performs the vidhi, and an HD video is sent on WhatsApp after completion.
These sevas are currently performed at 2 Teerth Kshetras across Bharat. Each seva page names the Kshetra it belongs to and the tithi it is performed on.
