Sanatan SahityaMy AccountBooking a puja online means a trained acharya performs the full vidhi at a Teerth Kshetra on your behalf, taking the sankalp in your naam and gotra, on the tithi the shastra prescribes for that seva. You do not have to travel, and nothing about the ritual is shortened because you are not standing there.
Divyachadhava arranges pooja and chadhava at more than 24 temples across Bharat — Mahakaleshwar and Kaal Bhairav in Ujjain, Khatu Shyam in Sikar, Kalighat in Kolkata, Rameshwaram, Haridwar, Vrindavan, Gaya and others. Every seva is carried by a regional family pandit who was born to that parampara, and the recording reaches your family on WhatsApp once it is complete.
You choose the seva, enter the naam and gotra of everyone the sankalp should carry, and complete the payment through Razorpay. Nothing else is asked of you.
On the appointed tithi the acharya takes your sankalp aloud before the deity and performs the vidhi as it is laid down for that puja — the same offerings, the same mantras, the same order. Where the seva calls for a specific dravya, that dravya is offered in your name.
Within about a day of completion an HD video reaches your WhatsApp. You can hear your own naam and gotra spoken in the sankalp. That recording is the proof, and it is why we do not use stock footage of any kind.
Devotees usually come with one of three things in mind. A festival or tithi is approaching and they wish to take part — Sawan Somvar, Ekadashi, Amavasya, Navratri, Pitru Paksha. Or a graha-related difficulty has been sitting on the household and they are looking for the shanti-vidhi named for it — Shani, Rahu-Ketu, Mangal, Kaal Sarp. Or they wish to remember their ancestors through Pitru-tarpan at Gaya or Rameshwaram.

The shastra treats place as part of the vidhi, not a backdrop to it. A Rudrabhishek at Mahakaleshwar, a tarpan on the banks at Gaya, a chadhava at Khatu Shyam — each of these is prescribed at that sthaan because of what the sthaan is. Performing the same mantras elsewhere is a different act.
This is the whole reason online puja seva exists. A devotee in another city, or another country, can still have the vidhi carried out where it belongs, in their own naam-gotra, rather than substituting a lesser arrangement closer to home.

The vidhi does not change. What matters in the shastra is that the sankalp names the right person and gotra, that the offerings and mantras are correct, and that the puja is performed at the prescribed sthaan on the prescribed tithi. A representative taking the sankalp on a devotee’s behalf is an old and accepted practice, not a modern shortcut.
Your name and gotra, and the names of any family members the sankalp should include. If you do not know your gotra, you may use Kashyap gotra, which is the accepted practice for devotees whose family gotra has been lost.
Yes. An HD video is sent to your WhatsApp number after the ritual is completed, generally within 24 hours. Your naam and gotra can be heard in the sankalp. We do not send generic footage.
It depends on the seva. Chadhava offerings begin at a modest amount, while a full anushthan with a larger recitation count and more acharyas costs more. Every seva shows its price and what is included before you pay.
Yes. Devotees from many countries book with us, and the video reaches any WhatsApp number. Payment is handled by Razorpay, which accepts international cards.
