Bhairav is the guardian — the Kotwal who holds the keys of the kshetra and of time. He is approached for raksha: from tantra-badha, from a hostile drishti, from adversaries who never come into the open, and from a fear that has no cause you can name.
The Kalashtami tithi is when his sevas are most often taken. Divyachadhava performs them at Shri Kaal Bhairav of Ujjain, at Vikrant Bhairav among the Ashta-Bhairav, and at the Bhairav seats of Kashi — in your naam-gotra, with video proof.
18 sevas at 8 Kshetras, open for booking right now.
Kalashtami is the Ashtami of the Krishna Paksha, the tithi on which Bhairav is worshipped each month. Bhairav Ashtami in Margashirsha is the largest of them. The raksha anushthans are traditionally taken on these tithis.
Choose one of the 18 sevas below, enter your naam and gotra, and complete the payment. On the appointed tithi the acharya takes the sankalp in your naam-gotra and performs the vidhi, and an HD video is sent on WhatsApp after completion.
These sevas are currently performed at 8 Teerth Kshetras across Bharat. Each seva page names the Kshetra it belongs to and the tithi it is performed on.
