Shri Kedarnath Dham at Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand — one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, one of the Panch Kedar, and one of the four Char Dhams. The shrine houses the kut-linga: the back/hump of Shiva's bull form, established by the Pandavas after the Mahabharata war for absolution from Brahma-hatya paap. Set at 3,583m altitude in the Garhwal Himalaya, the temple opens for darshan in late April–May and closes for the winter in November.
