About Shri Mangalnath MahadevShri Mangalnath Mahadev at Ujjain, on the bank of the Shipra, is held in the Puranas to be the birthplace of Mangal, the planet Mars, born of the earth here. For this reason it is the foremost kshetra of the land for Mangal-shanti, drawing those who carry a manglik or Mangal dosha. On Vivah Panchami, the Margashirsha day on which Ram wed Sita at Janakpur, a Mangal-shanti and a vivah-ashirwad are offered together, seeking the manglik dosha pacified and a marriage as devoted and blessed as that of the divine couple.
How the ritual is performedThe Vivah Panchami manglik vivah-ashirwad sankalp is carried at Shri Mangalnath Mahadev, Ujjain, in your naam-gotra, on Margashirsha Shukla Panchami, Ram and Sita’s wedding day.
Why DivyachadhavaDevotees want the sankalp carried with care, a clear ritual, a clear video, and a clear naam-gotra spoken before Mangalnath at Ujjain.
Shri Mangalnath Mahadev at Ujjain is the birthplace of Mangal, the foremost place to calm a manglik dosha, and Vivah Panchami is the Margashirsha day on which Ram wed Sita. On this Vivah Panchami of 14 December 2026, a Mangal-shanti and vivah-ashirwad are offered in your naam-gotra for the manglik dosha pacified, a marriage settled at last, and a home blessed like Ram and Sita’s.
