In Vastu Shastra, every plant carries its own elemental and planetary association. Trim off any yellow, dry or dead leaves immediately, since these are believed to carry stagnant or negative energy.

Keep the plant in a bright spot with indirect sunlight, as a healthy, thriving plant amplifies the positive Vastu effect.

Gift a money plant sapling to a friend or family member as a gesture of shared prosperity; this is considered auspicious in Vastu tradition.

Do not keep a dead, dried or completely bare money plant in the house; remove it and either revive a fresh cutting or dispose of it respectfully.

Do not place the money plant in the North-East (Ishan corner), bathroom, or directly in front of the main door facing outward, as this is believed to let prosperity escape rather than enter.

Do not let the vines trail on the floor in a tangled, unkempt manner; an unruly plant is thought to reflect unruly finances.

Do not keep the plant in the bedroom, particularly near where you sleep, as Vastu considers this disruptive to rest and calm.

Avoid buying a money plant on inauspicious days; many households prefer to bring a new plant home on a Friday, the day associated with Venus, or during an auspicious muhurat.
